The Jewel in CBA ...!!!

The CBA-123 was born on 05/21/1987 in an agreement with the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer, together with the Area Material Cordoba for manufacturing of an aircraft powered by two turboprop nacelles located at rear, with propellers (pointing backwards) capable of carrying 19 passengers.
engines were chosen Garrett TPF-351-20 1300 shp. The project was known as the Embraer EMB-123 and by Argentina as IA-70 but 21-May-1987 adopted the unofficial name of CBA-123 Vector (Argentina Brazilian Cooperation) and the building was divided by 66% Embraer by leaving the remaining 33% by FAMA. While there were hopes that the market would require about 200 aircraft, the reality was very different because of the high costs had made the project should take over engine certification since it was designed exclusively for the CBA in addition to the costs of certification of the airplane itself, gave land to the project.
The total is able to build 3 prototypes, the first two in charge of Brazil (PT-ZVE c/n801-ZVB yc/n802 PT) and the remaining armed by FAMA (c/n803 LV-X134).
The first flight was made on July 18, 1990 and 10 August, the PT-ZVE flew from Sao Jose dos Campos to Cordoba to be presented in the country and joining the festivities on the day of September, the FAA and CBA flew to London to be presented at the prestigious Farnborough aeronautical festival.
by The plane was never finalized FAMA economic problems but reached a significant level of progress as can be seen in the photos.
The project was permanently closed in 1993 leaving the LV-X134 stored in the "Hangar 36" in a corner with his right horizontal stabilizer.
Another dream but could not be, I hope the plane is here now gone and is not a good rest.
